In the enchanting Dongfengyun Town, Half Cloud beautifully continues architect Luo Xu's distinctive design style while elegantly incorporating Art Deco elements, preserving its unique character. Constructed entirely from local red bricks without a single steel bar or nail, this utopian haven on the red soil epitomizes a harmonious return to nature. The structure itself is a colossal art installation, with its robust exterior walls, fluid curves, layered textures, and undulating forms mirroring a half cloud on the horizon.
CCD's meticulous attention to entrance design shines through once again, drawing inspiration from the terraced fields of Yunnan. The entrance ingeniously extracts and reinterprets architectural forms, presenting a fresh, compelling face. The interior seamlessly extends the building's organic curves, with expansive arches and soaring domes. Circular skylights pierce the brick walls at the summit, allowing natural light to cascade down, creating a serene ambiance where the interplay of sunlight and shadow evokes a sense of celestial harmony.

Light-Centric Arrangement: Every design element is thoughtfully positioned beneath the skylight, experiencing the ephemeral dance of natural light, offering varied and immersive interior experiences throughout the day.
Curved Lines: The building's sinuous lines are gracefully echoed throughout the space, where each object stands as a work of art.
Entrance Design: The sturdy steel plates, elegantly curved, guide visitors into the space, infusing the rustic environment with an artistic spirit that ignites the imagination.
Inside, verdant plants enliven the dining atmosphere, while the interplay of natural light and rugged red bricks, complemented by soft lighting and exquisite furnishings, creates an interactive dialogue between humans, nature, and space. Dining here transforms into a multisensory experience, tantalizing sight, taste, hearing, and touch, making each meal a captivating journey.
