Suzhou Shishan Jinmao Palace

Shishan Jinmao Palace in Suzhou is the city’s first demonstration zone that harmoniously blends modern aesthetics with traditional Suzhou design. Inspired by the Four Seasons Hotel design concept, the project features a sunken clubhouse and incorporates the craftsmanship of Apple Store design into its spaces, merging the elegance of gardens with the leisure of a resort.
The designers meticulously selected over a hundred luxurious stones, ultimately choosing materials such as Italy’s Regis Gray, Fendi White, and Turkey’s imported Catermiller to match the prestige of the homeowners. Even the clubhouse entrance, known as the "Jade Light Box," is crafted entirely from luminous jade sourced from Nan'an, Fujian, after 13 rounds of material selection.
In the landscape design, the project draws inspiration from Suzhou’s cultural heritage and natural elegance. Echoing the techniques of the Lion Grove Garden, such as creating grand impressions in small spaces, varied perspectives, and borrowed scenery, the design establishes a spatial layout of “two gates, two axes, six courtyards, four gardens, and sixteen scenes,” creating a living experience where coming home feels like a retreat.
